Hi guys, just have a question about training in career mode. I got this information; viewtopic.php?f=4&t=101, from these forms, but I seem to be having a little bit of difficulty getting this to work. I did as described, brought gamblers tickets and did shadow training exclusivly in my second year after doing stregth training in my first. It seemed to work for about a turn or two, then, after a turn or two, I needed to perform the activity twice to get enough points to power up both top speed and breaking balls. I didn't rest my character in the stretch either, I got the vitaliy necklace and save/reloaded. But it keep still taking twice as long as it shoul have. I even tried no practicing at all my first year. Just study and work till after first years finals, then brought gamblers tix, and still had the same problem. Don't know if Im still doing somethin wrong... hope you guys can help. Also, What does the gamblers ring do?

Thanks for any help you can give.
* Sorry for my poor gramer...

Try to get items that boost tech points (focus stones), and, you can do it in yr 3 after you get the champs ring after winning the championship. You can also use the chocolate sponge cake, i believe it is called, to raise exp gained in practice.

I had the focus stone at one point, but that didn't seem to work. Ill try the sponge cake and see if that works. Thanks again for the tip

The gamblers ring is like a never ending Gambler's ticket.

If your top speed is too high at the start of Shadow Pitching Run, you won't be able to sustain it for long. Don't do any top speed upgrades in Year 1.

Also Poor Sense increases the cost for upgrades, so your tech point requirement for +1mph be higher. It might only be by a couple of points, but as you know, having 1 tech point left over after gambling on top speed makes all the difference.
