That low stamina is killing you. Even closers should have at least a high-D - to C stamina. I assume you have a changeup.

Just go with a low changeup whenever the batter thinks fastball and a high-corner fastball when he thinks breaking ball. Your stamina will only get you through 3-4 innings, though.

A closer shouldn't need to go longer than 2 innings at max.

Starting pitcher should get you to the 6th inning at worst, 9th inning at best.
Relief pitchers usually come in around 6th to 8th, generally closing out the game.
Closers are specialty pitchers for when you really need to finish off the game with the lead or keep the game to a small margin extremely late in the game, early to mid 8th at best.

Any team starting a closer in the 6th is probably weak at relievers

My pitcher has a level 2 2SFB and a level 7 Foshball

when I say 3-4 innings, I don't mean high-quality innings. The last ones will just be pushing it - your guy is still better than anyone else on the team. Closers only come out for 1, maybe 2 innings, but those are high-quality all-out innings. The Tulips make you the starter so you want to go as long as possible.

That Foshball/96 mph combo should get you most batters out. The fosh started anywhere below the middle of the plate will fool just about every success player.

Yeah that's the thing, I can strike them out left and right. Then here's the scoreboard once I am out of the game

you have horrible luck!

actually just check your luck and see.
I usually get around 2-4 runs of support.

Doesn't take any more than 10 tries - if I'm not captain.
You should've really tried to win in you 2nd year.
It's still possible.
Too bad you can't hit for your pitcher.

how u doing now?
I played this morning and beat the C-Rings 4-2. I made catcher with B power, though. But either way, my team was leading 4-1 going into the eighth.

Finally won 4-2 tonight after 5 more tries... then tied the All-Stars 2-2.

I usually beat the All- Stars team 1 out of every 3 times if not more. Tonight with the Ellsbury character I posted I beat them 13-4.

Has anyone ever beat the All-Stars by the Mercy Rule? Just curious.

I got up by 9 in the 5th inning of one game - but gave up 3 runs that inning and finished 10-6.

Random:
In the making of my catcher (1st year) I got two straight hitting tests in two straight weeks. It was a pleasant little surprise.
