As captain of my team, I came in to control the team in the eigth to find my home-run hitting slugger had a triple, single, and a double. My team was behind 5-1. My player was the fourth batter up. Oh, and by the way, he came up with bases loaded. What better way to complete the cycle then with a game-tying grandslam! This was the second cycle I've seen in the game, the first of which brad hit!
The score ended up being 12-5 in my biggest two innings I've ever played. I'm yet to score more then 5 runs since.

you will get there. I once took control and ended up winning like 23-1 or something stupid once.

After you get the feel of it - you can almost always load 'em up and run up the score in the last two innings.

Well, to be honest, my next game was against the all stars and I haven't played one yet. So it makes sense that I haven't scored more yet. But I may be there yet or just shy of the mark. Anyone else hit the cycle? I doubt it, but has anyone done it in two innings?

I got close to the cycle but I never get to hit a home run bucause I mostly make pitchers(average ones at that)

I suppose if you had a fast player with decent power (decent power means homeruns every time in success mode but not in the season) it would be easy enough if you weren't captain. Getting rid of the rookie charm would help as you could control your running and go for the risky last base.

I'm playing the Texas Rangers in Season mode.
During the first part of the year, I traded Kevin Millwood for Ichiro Suzuki.

In a game I played last night, Ichiro led off the game with a triple, followed with a single and then got a double with a GO and a LO in the middle. I was trying really really hard to get him an opportunity for a HR and complete the cycle, when...

I inadvertently got a triple with Frank Catalanotto. I didn't even realize, he had a cycle going.

Ichiro didn't get his HR, but I got the cycle anyway. :D

Go Rangers!

Haha nice mate. Time to turn up the difficulty a notch or two...
I've actually had Ichiro hit the cycle against me in Panapaka Park (easiast place to do it because triples are so common. The homer is whats hard to get). His homer was inside the park do to what should have been called an error but wasn't. My center fielder who had all A fielding besides fielding error which was B crashed into the wall and was out of it for the whole damn play (face and name is modeled after Marvin but not his stats). My left fielder who has no arm (first outfielder I made) comes along 10 seconds later and weakly throws it to home. If I had brought my right fielder with a B arm I would have gotten it their much faster and possibly stopped a 3-run homer. Hey, I still won it in the 12th with a walk-off hit. Ichiro had hit the cycle in 8 innings and I had 2 players who almost hit it. One needed a triple and the other a single.

He is kidding you, because there's obviously no signals in this entire game.

Actually, I was saving the single for last. I decided not to get runs so I could try to get the cycle and turned off the computers auto lock batting (cheating, I know). It was really strange, but when I tried to hit a single, I actually got a walk-off home run that barely made it over. Second time I've seen a home from that.
