Purple Ability?

Post subject:  Purple Ability?
After i read the game guide here...i found out those purple ability can only able to learn from the red ability....u can't get it when u don't have any red ability...

does those purple ability affect the character? is it better than the character that without any purple ability and red ability (all Blue abilities)?

For example if i have two fielder characters with the same Blue abilities
One of them with just blue abilities
and One of them with the same blue abilities as the other one...but it has one or two more purple abilities (Relax or Restrain or Both)

Which character is better? Are they the same?

I think those are your default abilities that every player starts with until you get the purple abilities

you don't actually "learn" purple abilities. they're just to cancel out the red abilities.
For example, i think "hot-headed" is a red ability where a pitcher loses composure after giving up hits.
the purple ability to counter that is "relax."
if you're not inflicted with hot-headed, you cannot "learn" relax.

there are abilities to cancel out Error-Prone, Free swinger, and others, but I can't recall their names.

edit: forgot to mention that the purple abilities will never show up in your character sheet. If you have "hot headed", that will show up as a red ability, but once you learn "relax," hot-headed will disappear, with nothing in its place.

Restrain is the opposite for Free Swinger.
