How many times or how long does it usually take you to get an elusive event?(Custom Pitch/Doctor Goodjob)

I was originally creating it as an original pitch question on exact dates it was possible to get but I'm sure people are sick of those already.

once the earliest date for such an event passes, it can be as simple as a few reloads, or it may take 2-3 hours (depending on your personal RL luck stat).

Especially with Goodjob, which you might hit about 5 times in 2 hours, but it takes all 5 tries for the process to work out the way you want it to. His operation will probably fail a few times before it works.

For my pitcher I got Goodjob 3 times with 2 successes. It's my first hardcore reloader. If it works out I'll post him somewhere.

To the latter, it's really just that it is unanswerable. Any date without a fixed event has the potential to have almost any random event. Obviously though events that are tied to players who don't join the team until year 2/3 can't take place before then. With dad (original pitch), there are a couple of fixed events initially. You'll have the spring break "throwaway the glove" event first week of March in year 1, and if I remember right meeting dad in town (helping dad with "home maintenance" event) is April week 2 in year 1. After that the events can come whenever. You can reload to get the dad loses his job and then gets a new job REs, which boost his happiness level. While I haven't dug into it exhaustively, I strongly believe that getting the two events between the scout and dad (the latter triggering the original pitch training event the following week) is tied to your scout rating. In other words, if the scout doesn't think highly enough of you, he won't run into dad in town and comment on your potential, and then later he won't chide dad for not teaching you anything. But like I said, I haven't spent enough time experimenting/researching to be able to give any specifics on what scout rating you need for each event.

As far as reload time, it depends on the day -lol- Regardless of fortune rating, for me it seems like with some playthroughs desirable events come easily and with others it is like pulling teeth to get a successful gamble or a particular RE to fire.
