There's that extremely rare event that can occur where a sports doctor visits you. I'm pretty sure that's how you get the Dr. K ability normally. He's only ever visited me once so I'm not 100% sure. Maybe I'm confusing it with something else?

Ahhh, ya that guy. What does Dr. Goodjob give you? I never got whatever ability he gives. I always assumed it was the Dr. K ability.

For some reason, and I know this has been mentioned before, Dr. Goodjob (I keep thinking his name is Dr. Feelgood) always seems to appear at the very end of the Success Mode. Usually between taking down the godless Zero and getting your a** handed to you by most of the Yankees infield and those other All Star guys.

I get his address and thats it. I know he will appear earlier, but have never seem it.

From my own experiences, Dr. Goodjob will appear as early as the beginning of the 2nd year (4 Wk, Nov to be exact)

Played through last night making Ozzie Smith (my all-time favorite player). Got the gambling ring from Sarah at the second Christmas (got the Shuffle Whistle at first Christmas). The thing with her, if you go that route, is that you don't have to get her anything first Christmas to get something from her (she still likes you more and your ladies man rating goes up).

At Christmas she offers you four boxes to choose from. At the second Christmas she'll ask you if you remember which box you picked the previous year. If you pick a different box than what you picked the first year, she'll get mad and like you less and leave without giving you anything. So you need to pick the same size box.

Obviously through save/reload you can get the gambling ring at the first Christmas following Annie's story line, but I don't play the same way through every time. Sometimes I go for maxed players, and sometimes I just play different "concepts" like in a regular role playing game.

year 3 valentine's was able to get gyroball from Becky using a challenge card. did not need at gift that time.
