The reason why Outworld hadn’t went for their tenth win against Earth realm is because Raiden threatened to get Chuck Norris. Archeologists unearthed an old english dictionary dating back to the year 1236. It defined "victim" as "one who has encountered Chuck Norris"
Chuck doesn’t wash his dishes, they get clean out of fear
Although it is not common knowledge, there are actually three sides to the Force: the light side, the dark side, and Chuck Norris.

I remember on numerous occasions being intentionally walked during games...But that was because I had a beastly character and their were men on base...

Haven't read the whole topic yet, but one thing that surprised me was the Double-Body Insurance Guy.
It's been awhile since I've done it, but I did it again later (editing this post for all to see):

-Remember as you start out, you have a salesman giving you the option to buy insurance.
(He shows up at different times, so try to get at least 2 Challenge Cards as early as possible)

-When he does offer you initially, make sure to play a Challenge card thus saying you wanna
be a Major Leaguer and need the best. He'll say something like, "Well we got something just
for you!" and then you'll have to choose from your cards again. I chose Challenge again
just to make sure and that'll give you the Body Double Insurance (something along those lines).
It might work with just a Yes for the second time (haven't tried it yet)

-Anyways, when you spend in excess of all your money, the Mafia guys come and make you an
offer you can't, unfortunately, refuse.

-If you don't pay it off eventually, the Mafia guy takes your items and sells them to pay off your debt...

-The Mafia will give you an extension of time, and then sell off your items again...

-...Until you have nothing left. Normally, it's game over but.....

-The Insurance guy comes to the rescue, just in time!!

I was floored the first time I saw/did this because I wasn't expecting it. Basically,
you'll just about to be escorted out the door when the "Insurance guy" (as the player
will call him) comes from out of the left side of your TV screen! Mentioning how he
made it just in time. He tells the Mafia he'll take your place and stuff and leaves, but
not without giving the player a last encouragement to follow your dreams to the Majors.
"Insurance guy!" ;_;

What would happen if you threw away the paper thingy that came along with it?

Hmmmm, good question. Actually found out about this by accident, so haven't tried throwing the paper away. Maybe in one of my next playthroughs I'll try it to find out.

EDIT: I tried to "sell" it, but you can't. So looks like you'll have it until you use it.

Not having the document means they'll take more of your money, as you have no proof that you borrowed a lower amount.

Back on topic..... I was surprised that Goodjob could hurt rather than harm. I had 10, yes 10 consecutive successful visits, and just a few minutes ago, he ruined my guy on the 3rd week of success mode.
