What happens if you actually get a ball into one of these holes?

??? I haven't unlocked the park. What i DO know, is that on certain stadiums, if you hit a HR in the right spot (like where a fountain is or something) you'll trigger a special cutscene. I assume this would do the same.

I remember one of the very first times I played this game I saw a cut scene where the ball gave this planet a complete lap. I have no idea how that triggered but...

I'm using it for my home ball park in season mode right now. JUST missed one of the holes earlier, I would like to know also.

And man is the outfield in that park HUGE. Left center is something like 415+ and the wall is straight for quite a distance.

I can't seem to hit a home run out of left center. Need to pull it or hit opposite field with righties. Probably because I'm using an expansion team and the best power hitter I have from the right side is at 145 power (b).

Hit a few triples already though. 8)

I went to fielding practice and hit a ball into the hole and nothing happened.

I played in Angel Stadium and hit my first home run into the waterfall thing in left-center and the water shot out in three jets straight up, I though this was cool ... until I realized this happened for every home run anywhere in the park.

I know this is about a few months late, but...
If you hit a ball in the lucky hole, it's a home run. The lights around the hole start lighting up and the announcer yells as usual, "He hit one in the lucky hole!"

Yeah, this is an old topic but for those who care; if you hit a gapper into the alley and it lands in one of the holes it's a ground rule double.

Haha, not surprised, but that's interesting. I have right handed slugger so I get it in there once or twice a month. He can usually hit above it. I've never had a ground rule double in there. Does he say anything special?

I actually don't remember if he said anything special or not. I tend to hit so quickly he ends up cycling through his lines a batsman later just about. We'll see if I can do it again, but it's doubtful.

It makes sense that a homerun area would go for a double after falling into a ground rule double space.

But witnessing anything gap into those holes is a rare site.

Yep, I've played hundreds of innings in that park and have only had one gap into it. Too bad my memory is terrible and I can't remember what ol' Jack said.
