This is only the 2nd in the series? I was under the impression that it has been in Japan for something like 5-10 years. You've gotta love being misinformed....

Idk if it would make a difference, but I don't want to buy a different series of baseball games so here's the Konami gaming e-mail address. Should we bombard them with e-mails begging for a new game in the series? [email protected] I'm just in love with this game and think every other baseball game fails in comparison. |

i'd say contacting 2K sports would be more worthwhile, as they actually put the game out in america. if you noticed, MLBPP isn't listed on Konami's american website anywhere, but is on 2K sports' website. |

Probably both would be applicable. 2K is just the US distributor because they own the official MLB license (in other words, Konami couldn't legally sell MLBPP on their own in North America). But Konami made the actual game. |

I think Konami is itching to release an MLB based game for selling in Japan, they only had to secure the rights to do it. MLB PP is sold as Jikkyou Powerful Major League 2 in Japan because it's the second installment of the series. The first one never made it to USA, but there are in-game references to it in MLB PP - such as Panpaka Park and the sports anchor Miss Kate. I'm sure there'll be a third but it's up to 2KSports to port it for North American audiences.
