last night and I was shocked there weren't any game bonus points - oh well it was cool anyway, grounder to third - tag runner, throw to second, throw to first, wham bam thank you mam!

Nice triple play. I did a triple play on a 1999 baseball game *going a bit off topic but* it was a pop fly to the outfield, men on first and second. I had no idea why the the runners kept on going even though it was a high fly. So my left feilder caught it as the 2nd base runner was almost at home base and the 1st base runner was turning the corner of 3rd, threw it to second, then from second to first. Triple play, that was epic.*Back on topic* I'm surprised there no bonus shop points though for a triple play.

I can set up a triple play in practice mode...and 90% of the time I get all 3 guys out.

Yes, provided the lead off hitter is slow as dirt, then it wouldnt be too much of a problem with A Arm Strength.

The easiest way for me to turn a triple is to have a pop-up, where the runners think it's a base hit, and after catching it, throw it to second for one force, and first for the other.
I believe I've done it for both an infield one and outfield one...

Yeah, but setting up a triple play in practice mode is easy, getting one in an actual game, isn't.

Even if the ball is hit in a way that you could get a triple play, you don't really expect it, and you can't redo it if you mess up.

I got a triple play in '08 once. EPIC.

I can do 'em all the time in practice. Still trying to figure out how to do an around-the-horn triple play in Practice...I always shift the players so that they're practically on the bases, but it seems lucky if I can turn two.

in Japan, they're way better than this. They do quadruple plays in PowerPros.
