Sorry if i misunderstood, but you can throw 97 mph in real life?

If I could, I would be very happy  , I know how to throw a good sinker and a good changeup, but everything else is made to fit my preferences, that means I made Gabriel as I would like to be if I were a major leaguer. I can't throw at 97 mph, I can't throw a curveball, and most importantly, I can't go on for 7, 8 innings jajajajajajaja.

And he does it again...

This time it was very interesting, because the Padres got out to lead-off the ninth a player I created specifically for hitting pinch-hitting homers, and I was terrified.

Getting a perfecto is commendable. This is awesome! Nice job! My best: 1 hitter after 8 1/3 perfect innings. The funny thing is that it was from my CL. I didn't make enough P's, so I started him. It was one of those shots up the middle over 2nd base that neither fielder can reach. My goal is to get a perfect game. Then, my life will be complete. Bye!

Actually it's in Powerful...

Time to bring up the Lock-on 5.

Hey there, first time posting, big Power Pros fan.

Over years of playing 2007, I have actually managed 4 perfect games, all with Tim Wakefield.

Season mode, all computer stuff set to "All-Star" and Lock-on-2.

The strategy is to
1.) Keep the outfield in at all times if going for the perfecto
2.) If the guy is swinging for power, aim the knuckleball so it is slightly above waist high and more towards the left or right edge of the screen.
3.) If the guy is swinging for contact, aim the knuckleball above the strikezone so it drops in at the letters

I haven't played in a bit, so I may have mixed up the power and contact (don't think I did) but that's basically it.

I don't think this has anything to do with my skill (never took a PG beyond the 6th with any other pitcher) as much as the fact that Knuckleballers are lethal in the hands of a human, and induce tons of pop-ups and weak grounders if used correctly. Try it out, I bet you can all get a perfect game over the length of the season.

As Wakefield for Boston I got one vs. the Braves in interleague, one vs. the Yankees at the end of the season (all their players felt miserable, nobody could hit well), one vs. the Yankees in the ALCS, and one other one at some point in my second season, don't remember it that much

Ironically, I just threw a perfect game in AAA. I didnt need any shifts at all. I used mostly my Knuckle Ball as the mostly pop up or ground out.

sorry to bump this, but shawn spencer threw a one-hitter IN THE ALL-STAR GAME!
The only hit was a blopper up the middle by a former teammate Jimmy Rollins.
Spencer had 20 strikeouts, and his kuckleball and sinker combo were unhittable.

I had a Van Hekken throw a no-hitter

I got him in a draft but I didn't see him do it but it said it player records that he did

He was absolutly nasty for a draft player: C Control, B stamina, 95 MPH, Lvl 4 slider, lvl 3 curve, level 5 forkball

I don't remember but his name wasn't Van Hekken at first, it was Swanson but I changed his name cause Van Hekken sounds better
