Tronto 3B....The stadium announcer says "Troy Glaus" but the play-by-play commentor say "Tony Glaus." Does this happen with anyone else? I have only heard it on him so far.

Yeah, I've heard him say that before. Also, on a lot of the expansion player names (guys like Chiaffred, Budzinski, the made up guys), the stadium announcer and play-by-play guy pronounce them differently.

yeah, for example, CMW is sometimes pronounced by the play-by-play announcer "Thats some great pitching by wAng!" (long A, it's sounded)
Personally, I prefer the stadium announcer, sometimes the press box gets annoying.

I noticed the PA pronounces Albert Pujols as 'Albert Poo-hole'. The play by play guy needs to muted permanently.

I think it is justice though. That shot he had off of Brad Lidge back in the NLCS a few years ago was epic.

The only other homer in the Juice Box that I have seen go further was one that Bonds hit about 6 years ago. I went over the food court in center field... play a game in Houston and you'll get an idea of the distance on it.

Pujols sucks.

Or the 4 games they lost in the 2005 series. That had to suck. :(

or the killer B's of 2008

Brandon Backe
Lance Berkman (OK, he's actually good)

Doug Brocail
Geoff Blum
Michael Bourn (decent)

Yeah, the team is a far cry from even a few years ago. Berkman looks like old Elvis.

At least Oswalt showed something last night, maybe he'll get back on track.

I haven't been down to Houston since the park was still Enron Field, but it is definitely on the small side down the lines.

Short down the lines and FAT in the middle. It's ok I guess, but I would much rather it had been build differently. That hill and the flag poles are old school, but some things are best left in the past.
