and be able to train the same guy on both Wii and DS. Take your player/season on the road.

Looks like the "My Life" feature was added - under the name "MLB Life"

Also, according to that article Success Mode will now start under a Double-AA story line.

Also some other things called "Career Mode" - raise player through the majors and "Dream Mode" - no idea what it is.

But the MLB Life thing sounds sweet - like Super Success Mode - with stuff like buying and house, cars, and making friends. Wow.

This literally is like my wish come true. I absolutely love this game, having never played any of the previous versions, and the other day I was looking to see if a DS version had ever come out before and if it had I was thinking of importing it. Now I can wait patiently for what will no doubt be the best hand-held baseball game ever!

What the article did mention though, and I forgot in my first post was this: MLBPP2008 for the PS2!!!

I do want a Wii, and if this game had been announced for only the Wii and not PS2 I may have given in, but for now I'm super happy about a PS2 version.

I don't have a DS either, but not worries - the Wii/PS2 version sounds incredible.

I'm going to have to schedule some PTO once the release date gets nailed down :D

wow, I can't wait for the new version of Power Pros!
Especially since it's quite outdated if you want to start a new
season mode with this one. Also not to be a corny promoter
of the wii but I must say out of all my consoles, I play the wii
by far the most. I have a ps2, 360, and wii. Despite the graphics
etc of the 360 I play my wii about 80% of the time! Besides
powerpros, Smash bros is very fun as well as mario kart wii
and the wii is hands down the most fun for when you have friends over.

Maybe I'm the only one, but has anyone else lost some interest in playing the game since news of the new version came out?
