You may have noticed some of the generic hitting stances / pitching forms depict real life players whose names couldn't be included for legal reasons. Mostly Japanese minor leaguers.

Several I've recognized:

Overhand 18 Keith Foulke (retired at the time MLB PP was released, currently on A's)
Overhand 19 Hideo Nomo (ex-Dodger, got released from KC this year)
Overhand 20 Keiichi Yabu (wasn't pitching last year, currently on SF Giants)

3-Quarters 20 Kaz Ishii (ex-Dodger)
3-Quarters 25 Yusaku Iriki (ex-Met)
3-Quarters 26 Kaz Tadano (ex-Indian)

3-Quarters 29 Erasmo Ramirez (ex-Ranger)

I think I've seen some of the others too but I'll have to find my Jikkyou Powerful Major League (MLB PP's predecessor) disc.

I heard of Tadano. Wasn't he the guy who threw the eephus in 04?
I think Hideo Nomo's career is over....he should retire...

What about batting? I was creating Fukudome for the PS2 version and was checking out some google pictures, and I swear Standard 15 is his own batting stance.

I was just about to mention this, generic 15 looks exactly like Fukudome.

Good call on Fukudome. Hopefully we'll figure all of them out.

I haven't played much Japanese Power Pros recently so I'd forgotten what his stance looks like in the game.
