Based on various postings I've read there seem to be a number of actions you can perform in the game that aren't formally listed in the game's manual. For example, I've seen numerous postings indicating you can press a button to pick up the Rosin bag. Also, I just saw one posting regarding the PS2 version of the game indicating you can press a button to throw the ball into the crowd.

Could we use this thread to create some sort of compilation of all of these "hidden controls"? I think it would be most useful to have all of that information in one place.

Most useful is being able to hold Z (GC controller) or C (nunchuck) to advance the text more quickly in success mode.

I'll confirm this once I get home but I believe picking up the rosin bag is L1 or L2 when the pitcher is idle on the mound. I've hit it by accident several times.

FOr the Wii, hitting 1 or 2 (either both or just one of them works) will have the pitcher pick up the rosin.

Pick up Rosin bag - press L2 before pitch

After throwing to the first baseman to end an inning, press R1 to flip the ball to the first base coach.

PS2 VERSION

I was playing a game today and the computer flew out to Justin Upton in right field, which was the 3rd out, and I pressed triangle(which I thought would throw to 2nd base) and he threw it all the way into the outfield crowd. It was pretty awesome.

Yeah, it was, when it happened I was like woah! So I went back and watched the replay and it showed some of it, and I recorded it on my phone.

Does anyone know what the controls for these might be on the Wii? I might have overlooked them earlier in the thread if they were there.

It might be the button you press to throw to second base...but I had another fly out to the outfield my last game and pressed triangle and he threw it to 2nd base. I'm not quite sure how to trigger it, I might've thrown it too early or maybe I have to be turned towards the seats but I'm going to try to figure out exactly how to do this later tonight.
