after playing baseball games with more realistic graphics, I go back to this and the strike zone seems HUGE. Anyone else notice that?

It's gargantuan. You'd think everybody had Andre the Giant's strike zone. Even li'l Eckstein.

I seriously think I've only drawn one walk in my entire MLB Power Pros playtime.

I did notice that this strike zone is big, relative to the body size of the players, and the size of the bat and reach of the bat.

The characters are all about the same size, there is really no variation between players.

2nd, the AI is trained, too well unfortunately, to throw strikes when behind in the count. With purposely fouling off pitches difficult, drawing walks are always going to be difficult.

Which is weird because you can easily get walks(well, not easily, but not too difficult to get a few each game) in the Japanese version.
