Why Can't i buy Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum's pitching forms?

I'm 50% sure that you can go into edit player mode and see what form they use.

Actually you can sort of, check which pitching forms you have unlocked and then go into the players pitching form, select the arm angle that's already selected then look and see which pitching form you don't have of those and there you go...now if you have all the forms unlocked or if you have the pitching form that he uses unlocked well your screwed.

Confirmed. And if you've unlocked all forms, on a PS2 you could still just boot the game without a memory card.
