So I've been eyeing this game since it was released on Wii last year, and I finally found it at a price that was acceptable to me so I snatched it up last weekend. Much to my dismay though the one feature I was looking forward to most (just being a GM and managing my team) seams to be very very difficult without playing each game. Namely, I feel like I drafted myself a good pitching core (dice-k, wang, verlander, Kazmir, & Bedard), but I'm noticing that the computer AI on 'quick game' is pulling my starting pitchers after like 3 to 5 innings consistently, and putting in relievers or other starting pitchers in their place... Yet I also notice that other teams (not mine) don't seem to have the same problem as their pitchers being consistently used for 6 to 8 innings... I'm sure you've discussed this before, but I read through some forum posts and did some searches and couldn't find anything... Any advice on how to remedy the situation?? Do I just have an option or two wrong??

Thanks for whatever help you can offer,

Karl

Season mode?

Remember, you are the GM, and real GMs have to do a lot of moving around to make things work.

Also, this is a Japanese game, they work things a bit differently than we would expect them to.

  1. Try a 6 man rotation
  2. Place all starting pitching on rest in the practice menu.
  3. Making AAA call up when you have guys over fatigued and need to skip a start or get pushed back a day.
