Yeah, it's hard to keep the control stick still. But it's more of my anticipation to let go after the swing, than the actual controller. Of course, sometimes, without touching it the sweetspot/pitching cursor will move up. I have to reconnect the wiimote when this happens.

My problem is that my controller has a little twitch to it, so I'll have it all lined up and ready to rip the leather off the ball when it will twitch upwards and pound it into the ground straight to the third baseman.

Sounds like me and golfing.... "it's a 2 foot putt, and he SLAMS it 50 yards"...

but maybe it's not the controller

I drew my first walk ever last night! I think it was Halladay too, I was roughing him up pretty good, had 2 guys on I think. He threw a first pitch strike then got tired and threw 4 straight balls outside. I couldn't belive it

I've been intentionally walked a few times. My DH was up and there were a few folks on base with two outs. I guess they didn't do their research on the guy after the DH when I slammed a double into right-center.

Yeah I tend to hit one every other game. The trick is to figure out the pitch types the pitcher can send, and you can instinctively tell which pitch he will throw depending on where he puts the cursor. If he's throwing a lot of zone painters (just inside or outside sliders, etc) and suddenly he sends one just high, a good bet is that it's a fastball. Crank it out

I made a change with the options, since it's so tough to hit homers and fairly challenging to put 15 hits on the board I changed the option so I could see what pitch the CPU was gonna throw me and BAM!! I hit 3 solo homers in my first game (still lost 5-4 from a walk-off by Tony Glaus, haha), but it feels nice to hit a few out without any lock-on mode. I'm liking the current options, think I have all CPU seetings on Expert, and gave them lock-on 3 or 4. Winning and losing games is more enjoyable and more realistic IMO
