Man, I hate lowered stats. I mean in a year the chars of MLBPP are unlike those never seen. After a year Posada went from D contact to F. Manny Ramirez actually had a sub 300 avg. And my (edited ^^;;) closer went from 3 lvl 5 pitches to 1 lvl4, 1 lvl 3, and 1 lvl 5. Is there any way to SLOW DOWN the aging process? I'm not talking about "No player improvement", I already know about that.
It is interesting to see what happens to older players though. Pettite actually lost stamina (!!), Clemens dropped to E control and B stamina, Mussina went down to C control and B stamina. And Schilling...well lets not go there. I don't see another bloody sock in his future.
Also interesting thing I noticed is how the players got traded. For example, Manny ended up getting traded to the Angels for a pitcher, and Schilling went to the Phillies for a fielder.

Only thing you can do is save and reload and hope it's not as severe.

The trades seem random. It'll tell you about a big trade if you're not simming.
