Post subject:  Miami Sea King Season Log

Yes, I know that nobody plays 2007 anymore except me. But before I got 2008 I made 3/4 of a success team. Then I got 2008 and forget about my team. Recently I went back to playing 2007, and I finished up my success team. I tried editing the rosters, because after all it was 2007, but that was too much work for me. So I set them back to normal, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I will be doing agents, but I am going to do the first season without trading or free agents, that is, I want to do this only with my success players. So your requests may not always get fulfilled.

I am going to try to put this up on the wiki but for now I will need to make a really long post. So bear with me please. Without furthur ado, here is the Miami Sea Kings!

2 New Teams Join the League

The 2 new expansion teams have finally been decided for the upcoming 2007 major league season. The Miami area will welcome a new team to the AL East, called the Miami Sea Kings. They will play in a brand new stadium called Rainbow Beach Stadium. The other team is the Fresno Flames, joining the AL West and playing in brand new Panpaka Park. Instead of the tradition expansion format, the first year player draft was skipped over this year and the Sea Kings and Flames took turns picking the top high school, college, and independant league players. This is indeed an experimental process because the players are at a differnt level of skill, but they will be skipping right over the minor leagues so perhaps there will be a faster transition. Because of the risk involved, Major League Baseball has decided to make this a 10 year experiment. I it succeeds, then the teams will continue. If not, then the teams will fold.
The end.

So there you have it, that is the first article I have wrote for my log. I will be writing articles from time to time, as well as game updates. I will not do game updates that much, only when something big happens or when I feel like it.

If you have any comments or critisism please say so!

I added a poll. Please vote in it. I realized I have played about 10 games already and gone through 2 complete game shutouts and a major injury to Joel Fonz. I have never even recapped the first game. So should I bother carrying on? Are you going to read this anyway?

If you had a "Maybe" tab on the poll, I would vote for that. It seems that you can write up some articles well so maybe is my answer.
