Were you playing or simulating? If simulating, did he have slugger(green) ability, if so that's why, slugger makes everyone bat low .200's or mid to high .100's.

well for my guy he has slugger and B contact but he still hits above .350 so I don't think that has anything to do with it unless the dude has low contact

Yeah, you might be right, I've never thought about that, but when I simmed a season the people with slugger ability had a low BA but that might be the answer right there, the contact.

I have a guy that's totally terrible. He uses the stance with the bat on the ground and he absolutely rips the ball every time up!

I use the 4 spring training games to determine what I should change the difficulty settings of the CPU to for the season because I can't change them once the season starts.

Pitching forms seem to matter because if you have a quick motion it is harder to throw top speed.

Yeah, I like to change my pitchers to long pitching wind ups so I can get the most out of them.

Alvin and Dice-k's motions are the only ones that will work for me every time.

Speaking of learning a new breaking ball is there a limit to how many can you have for an arrow? I would like to have a circle change-up a knuckleball and a foshball but they all require the down arrow.

Vertical slider goes down and it basically is a slider with a lot of drop.

Is it a dominant pitch? Would you want your pitcher to learn it?

It is one of my favorites personally and probably the best next to a knuckler.
