LineDrives Extend Streak to Six

LineDrives 8, Cubs 6

W: Balfour (2-0)
L: G.Baker (0-2)
S: Walden (6)
MVP: Heisey (drove in winning run)

The LineDrives and Cubs traded bullpen meltdowns as a ninth-inning rally gave the newcomers from Nevada their sixth straight win. “It feels like it’s been six years since our last game,” Chris Heisey, the game’s MVP, said. “Oh, and y’all should come to our open practice tomorrow. Coach has a few surprises for the fans.”

Box Score Highlights (because i accidentally skipped it)

Scott Sizemore (3B) -- 2 home runs (7, 8)
Mark Trumbo (1B) -- home run (2)
Andy Dirks (LF) -- home run (1)
Ivan Nova (SP) -- threw just 36 pitches in 6 IP, but faltered in the 7th before exiting
Grant Balfour (RP) -- replaced Nova and struggled, allowing 4 runs in an inning-plus of work
Jordan Walden (CP) -- pitched a perfect ninth for the save (his sinker, y'all. his SINKER,,, it's so good)

(author's note: i have no idea if i'm actually gonna continue this log but i saw the save file whilst playing 07 today and i just had to play a game)

((also author's note: apparently A won so my 13 year old self is gonna pay for those dumbass options i gave y'all)
