That's right, I just got my first pinch-hit walk-off come-from-behind grandslam! I was winning by about 3 runs and my pitcher (Phil Hughes) was throwing a 2 hit (2 homers) game into the seventh. He let 2 runners on base and I kept him in their two long to give up a home-run (he had never given up more then 2 runs a game, had a 1 ERA in 6 starts, and had 6 Complete games so I had obviously grown to trust him). My offense was shut down 1-2-3 with the shock still lingering from the home-run (on me, not the players). I decided to take a chance of one in a hundred. I had rested my second best hitter who had got 13 homers in April (it was May 3rd). So I brought in a reliver whose era I didn't care about and was about to trade away and had him give up a solo homer. That's all he gave up. My team came up (in Panapaka park) and hit three singles in a row. Obviously, I brought in my pinch-hitter and he knocked one out of the park. But what made it so amazing is that he did it in the lucky hole!
I think getting a pinch-hit walk off come from behind grand slam nets the most points of any of the big accomplishments (comparing it to a cycle, no-hitter, triple-play, perfect-game). It give you about 60 for a walk-off game, 100 for a walk-off homer, 200+ for a grandslam, 300+ for a pinch-hit grandslam 600 for a walk off grandslam, and 1100+ for a walk off pinch hit grand slam. The exception may be a perfect game because you may get points for a no-hitter as well. Since it's so hard to walk anyone, a no-hitter would be almost impossible by itself.

a no-hitter can still be accomplished by bonking hitters whom you don't wish to face... Might even take them out of the game!

I was in season mode and Cliff Lee threw a perfect game.
Too bad he wasn't on my team.

ouch. I've had 2 cycles hit for and against me, but nothing in the neighborhood of a no-hitter. The furthest against me I've seen was 5 innings but that's because I was lazily playing through. I then hit him for 3 in the 6th and 2 in the 8th. Poor guy. The furthest I've gotten was into the 7th but I got distracted by the phone right as I clicked the pitch button so I went to get it and let a pitch go right down the middle for a homer :(. Shame, it was a 1-hitter too.

I've thrown 1 perfect game a while back with an expansion pitcher. He was stacked!
97 Top speed
4 level 4 pitches
B Control
190 Stam
Don't ask how I got this guy, just a random player who turned out to be good. I wasn't even paying attention unitl the 9th when the bubble showed up saying 3 outs away from a perfect game. I hate when it tells you stuff like that cause then it makes you nervous. Luckily I was facing the bottom of the Marlins order so they didn't punish my mistakes. I think it got me around 1100pts.

I no-hit with Danceparty Tom, (94 mph, C-CTRL, B-STAM, level 6 Palmball, level 4 Slowcurve)

He still hasn't given up a run this season and he's started 13+ games

No I'm not playing Easy Mode and the CPU is set to Lock-On 2 :!:

wow, I always thought you were. nice! What level are you on? I'd think that would be impossible on All-Star+. Maybe its just that my pitching is that bad. Its gotten better lol. I just get too impatient or don't focus enough.

Yeah it's easy to get complacent and just want to throw a ball, only to watch it sail over the stands. I can't remember what I have my game set to, I'll look next time I turn it on. It's higher than the default setting, that's for sure.

Even on normal mode that's tough. I can't even get a no-hitter on the easiast level, though I made it through to the six inning in one of my three tries. I got too bored. I did manage four cycles in a game though ;).

I never have walk-off hits. If games ended in the eighth then I would have dozens.
