I came up with a strategy for sweeping that first place team in season mode.
In the first game set Lock-On to 5 and destroy they're bullpen.
Try to make sure the other team gets as injured as possible-if you're really good bean them in the head :P
It's a kinda dirty tactic but hey it's for the world series.

That's pretty funny, but I don't need to do that to win. I've had my setting as hard as it can be all this season I'm on (2010), and I have a perfect record so far and I'm past the All-Star break!

Well I did try this strategy just now.... I beat the Astros 38-0. They used 8 pitchers and I did try to bean batters in the head, but I can't figure out how to intentionally hit them.

you could try a curve/sinker ball in the direction of the batter

For best results use Brandon Webb :D

I'd suggest that guy would have a knuckle curveball and a hard sinker as they are the fastest in that section.

I used a player with a 105 fastball. Most guys couldn't react to it. When got hit instead of rubbing their shoulder as usaul the fell flat on the ground. I think they did that because the pitch was so fast. But it was pretty funny to watch!

Throw a sinker/curve at the batter's feet, it's funny :P

In MVP Baseball once, I decided to intentionally hit every batter that my pitchers faced. They kept getting ejected and ejected and ejected etc. Finally, when I got down to my last pitcher, I could hit as many people as I want because the game recognized the fact that I had no pitchers left. :D

I can't remember the last time I hit somebody (be it on purpose or by accident) in Power Pros. I don't really see the point of hitting a batter anyway. Even if you're getting revenge for something that happened a little earlier in the game, don't you find that quite childish? It's like when you were 3 and "little Billy" took your Play-Doh, so you took his just to even things up.

I've been plotting my revenge on 'Little Billy" for over a decade now. That was my Play-doh, and when I got it back it had been left out of the can. Nobody likes hardened Play-doh. Billy will feel my wrath...

Sometimes I try to bean batters just so I can see them fall down and get injured. Or I get bored because I am dominating 22-0. It's so much fun to hurt people...
