Why does it seem the game is much more difficult after the All-Star break? At the beginning of the season, all my players had high motivation and I was winning by 10, 11 runs. Now, after the All-Star break, my guys have high motivation again (They always do after the All-Star break), but now I'm only winning by 1, 2 runs. Why is this?

I changed the settings and I'm once again winning by 7, 8 runs. :p

Yeah, I think it's just you. It didn't seem to get any harder for me.

I changed one minor setting and I think it had a major impact on my run scoring. All I changed was changing the pitch mark from "Ball" to "Point" when I'm batting and I went from scoring 7-10 runs to scoring 1-3 runs.

Isn't it too easy then? I find all-star mode way too easy. I'd like it to be realistic and not win 9/10 of my games. I wish I could change it to the hardest in mid-season.

Well I'm going for a perfect record this season, then I'll make it harder next season. I know a perfect record is well.... impossible, but I just want to do it once, then next season make it harder. Right now I'm 121-0.

That must be boring haha. Good luck mate. How many times did you reload? If you want to speed things up, I'd suggest saving and autoing through a few games. If your with a good team, (most of all the Yanks, their admittedly over-powered), they should easily win them without your help and the one game they do lose calls for a simple reload. Then just play the last ten or so. I'm guessing by your name the your a Cubs fan, but I don't know how good of a team they were in 06 as I only became upssessed with baseball this year haha.

I have a team that I only play with after I lose to my brother. It feels good to whoop the CPU after a loss!

I wish I had local buddies who liked baseball and would play a game or two with me. They only like to get their collective arses handed to them in Mario Kart

I don't quit/reload. If I'm losing I change the settings to make it easier. I recently had to do that when I was losing 1-3 to the Dodgers, and I ended up winning after making the settings as easy as possible.

That seems very dishonest but what ever

Maybe your players got very fatigued so they did worse.

Players lose all fatigue after the break
