I want to trade because Derrek Lee is costing me way too much and he doesn't even play as good as he used to. So I was wondering if anyone could think of a first baseman as good or better than Derrek Lee in the price range of 5000 - 8000 points?

I just did a search and...... SUPRISE! Rich Aurilia is one of your better picks. I'm not sure why they made him so good.Adam LaRoche is another option.

One option would be Wilkerson on the Nats, he's 3B but you could pick him up in the off season and have him learn 1B. Cheap, young, very solid player all around.

Sweet, I'll go after him. I wanted Lance Berkman, but sadly he costs more than Derrek Lee does.

Do you mean Ryan Zimmerman? Wilkerson already plays first base. I always make sure I draft Berkman in the Dream Drafft.

Wow, Aurilia also playeys SS and 3B! He doesn't have the best contact, but he has good power and everything else. :D And his contract with the Giants right now is only 2680 points!

Yeah, he used to play SS regularly with the reds a couple years ago, he's a really good player.

Howard pretty great. Adrian Gonzalez pretty good for the price at that position as well. Of course both of these players are WAY cheaper then 5000.

Hm, I'm finished with the season and I'm doing F/A negotiations right now. I'm stuck between trading for Aurilia and picking up Ty Wiggington right now as a F/A. Wiggington has better contact and just as good on power, and Wiggington plays 3B, 1B, 2B. I guess I'll go for Wiggington since he's cheaper, but so many F/A good players right now! I CAN'T DECIDE WHO I WANT! I want Sheets, Street, Wiggington, and Rios! Odds are, I won't get all of them, but I'll try. :P

Jason Giambi is compleatly overpowered and is the best, but he's too expensive. I'd go with Howard, he's extremly cheap and has a few years on his contract. It's under 800.

I love Aurillia. I took over SF in season mode for a challenge and he can hit. In mid July, I think he's something like .320-20-80 with me playing less than half of the games. Pedro Feliz isn't bad either. He can produce .280-20-80 for a season and play 1b and 3b.

Omar Vizquel leads the league in hits. I think 80% of his hits are singles, but he gets on ahead of Gonzalez (Bonds) which is usually good for a run.
