I hate to bump up an old thread for this but I played mlb pp 07 a few days ago and I drafted a guy named watkins and his stats were like this 1st base Bats-left Throws-left B power-178! B contact-13! D run speed-9 B arm strenght-12 D Fielding-8 C Error res-11 3 Trajectory I managed to bring his stats up to A contact and A power and right now I'm workign for 4 Trajectory. (Sigh) I wish the players in 08 were this good when you draft them |

oK so hes 21 right now, and he finished the season with 20 homers and 153 rbis, I was wrong about his A power though, but hes at 178 right now, he won roty and led my team in alot of offensive categories for a team that lost 99 games, but the yankees somehow did worse than me cause they were 30-132, but this is dream draft mode Edit- One of the best suprises of the season for the yankees was adam eaton who had an 11.5 era, pitched 318.2 innings, was 3-22, played 80 games(started 17) had no quality starts, he walked 535 batters, struck out 65 and let up 426 runs(406 earned) |

holy poop @ Eaton. In My Life mode (yes, I know, this is the wrong forum) my team (Rockies) drafted a 22 (i think) year old who was D con B stam, and 98 (!!!) topspeed. he had a 4 sld and 4 fork I think, and a 3 curve. He was better than my character.

Yeah, we're breakin out the salt and pepper for that guy. so glad to be rid of him.On-topic: I've never seen a particularly good drafted player in 07 (season) or 08 (life) Don't know about 08 season, though. |

OH MY GOD I got a SUPER ROOKIE!!! Drafted Saipe, L/L, 24 yrs old, 1st round. He didn't look that impressive, but his Brk Ball thing was maxed out, and I was ready to reload if I got any duds, and... 90 MPH 80 G ctrl 60 D stam lvl 5 CB!!! lvl 6 FORK!!! and best of all... LEVEL 6 KNUCKLER!!!!!! OMFG... |

Major bump! I know this doesn't count really as a draft pick but I made an expansion team in 2007 and I just got the best player! He's 23, his name is weibl and he's a right fielder B(13)Contact! C(128)Power B(13)Run speed! B(13)Arm strength! B(13)Fielding! C(10)Er res 2 trajactory He is AMAZING, and to think I can actually draft a guy like that |

Sorry for bumping a really old topic, but in '08, I drafted a 3B with E contact, and B power. He was my first pick. Probably by best player drafted yet. |

It didn't have a level 4 2SFB, it was a 3B. Also, he was picked in the Dream Draft for my new Season team, the Grey Sox. |
