The Jays would begin the scoring in the second. With a man on third and two gone, John McDonald hit a single to right, giving the Jays a 1-0 lead.

Nobody would score again until the seventh, when Kaz would lead off the inning with a homer to center, tying the game at 1-1.

With the bases loaded and no outs in the eighth, Wen would hit a single up the middle to give the Stingers a 2-1 lead. A.D. would follow up with a sac fly to left, extending the lead to 3-1. The next batter, Kaz, would hit a double to center, making it 5-1 Stingers. Roman stepped in and hit a homer to left, making it 7-1 Stingers.

The Jays would go 3 up, 3 down in the ninth, and the Stingers would finish the 4-game series with a split.

The Yankees scored first in the fourth. With a man on second and two gone, Jason Giambi hit a double to center, giving the Yankees a 1-0 lead. Hideki Matsui would follow with a single to drive in the run, making it 2-0 Yankees.

Kaz would lead off the bottom of the inning with a solo homer to left, narrowing the lead to 2-1.

In the fifth, with a man on third and two gone, Derek Jeter hit a fly to center that should have been an easy catch, but Yuu dropped it, giving the Yankees a 3-1 lead.

A-Rod would lead off the sixth with a solo homer to left, extending the lead to 4-1. The next batter, Giambi, hit a homer to right, extending the lead to 5-1.

In the seventh, with a man on second and two gone, A-Rod hit another homer, giving the Yanks a 7-1 lead.

With men on first and second and no outs in the eighth, Wen hit an RBI single, giving the Stingers their second run of the game and narrowing the lead to 7-2. A.D. followed with a 3-run homer to right, and the Stingers were suddenly back in the game, trailing 7-5. Jeff Karstens would come in to pitch for the Yanks, and immediately gave up a homer to Kaz, making it 7-6. After Roman lined out to center, Christian took one deep to left off Carl Pavano, tying the game 7-7. Later in the inning, with men on first and second and two gone, Yuu hit a single, giving the Stingers an 8-7 lead. Wen would follow with a single of his own, extending the lead to 9-7. A.D. followed with a 3-run homer to center, and all of a sudden the Stingers had a big lead, 12-7.

With men on the corners and no outs in the ninth, the Yankees wouldn't give up, as Jeter hit a single to right, narrowing the Stingers' lead to 12-8. Later in the inning, with men on second and third, Giambi hit a single, narrowing the lead to 12-10. Harry came in after that, and, after giving up a double to Hideki Matsui tthat put runners on second and third, got Jorge Posada to pop up to the catcher, ending the nailbiter with a 12-10 win.
