Charlotte Stingers (2-0) @ Toronto Blue Jays (0-2)

Pitching Matchup:
Anthony Palmer (0-0) vs. Tomo Ohka (0-0)

The Stingers would start the scoring in the first with men on the corners and one gone. Kaz would step in and hit a 3-run shot to left, giving the Stingers a 3-0 lead.

The Stingers would strike again in the third. After Yuu led off with a double, Wen stepped in and hit a single, making it 4-0. The next batter, A.D., would step in. With a 1-1 count, he would be hit by a pitch and would be out the rest of the game. Adrian Vasquez would sub in at DH. After a fly out to center by Kaz that moved Wen to third, Roman would hit a sac fly to center, making it 5-0 Stingers.

Vernon Wells would put the first run on the board for the Jays, leading off the fourth with a solo homer, making it 5-1.

Lyle Overbay would come up in the fifth for the Jays, with nobody on and one gone, hitting a solo homer to make it 5-2. Vernon Wells would immediately follow with a solo homer of his own, making it 5-3 Stingers.

With two gone in the sixth and men on first and second, the Stingers struck back, with Yousuke hitting an RBI single between second and third, making it 6-3 Stingers.

In the bottom of the inning, with men on the corners and no outs for the Jays, Aaron Hill would step in and hit a 3-run homer to left, tying the game at 6.

In the seventh, however, Adrian would hit a solo homer to center with one out and nobody on, giving the Stingers the lead back, 7-6.

With a man on second and nobody out in the ninth, Wen would step in and hit an RBI single, extending the Stingers' lead to 8-6. After Adrian hit a single, Kaz stepped in and hit a monster 3-run shot to right, making it 11-6 Stingers.

With one gone in the bottom of the inning, Frank Thomas shrunk the lead to 11-7 with a solo shot to left. But the Jays would not score anymore, giving the Stingers an 11-7 victory, sweeping their inaugural series.

Dude, it's on All-Star. Powerful is too much. I mean, come on. Troy Glaus had 4 HOMERS against us in 4 games. The games are, for the most part, tight.
