The Stingers would begin the scoring in the bottom of the first as Kaz, with men on first and second and one gone, hit a bloop single to right, driving in the run. Logan followed with a sac fly to center, making it 2-0 Stingers.

Christian led off the second with a homer to left, extending the lead to 3-0.

With a man on first and two gone in the third, Logan hit an RBI double to extend the lead to 4.

With men on first and second and two gone for the A's in the fourth, Nick Swisher hit an RBI single to short center field, narrowing the Stingers' lead to 4-1.

The bottom of the fifth saw the Stingers strike again, as Kaz, with men on second and third and no outs, hit a 2 RBI double to center, and extending the Stingers' lead to 6-1.

Milton Bradley led off the sixth for the A's with a homer to right, narrowing the Stingers' lead to 6-2.

And that would be it for the scoring, as neither team struck again, leaving the Stingers with a 6-2 victory.

Shortly before the game, reports surfaced that the Stingers had signed 21 year old reliever Francisco Rosario (97, G, C, 4 H-SLD, 2 CHG, 2 SPLT) to a 1 year, $380,000 contract.

After the game, Stingers GM Hank Aaron confirmed the reports. "We think Francisco is a very talented young player who has room to grow in our organization. But we do not yet consider him ready to be any higher than AAA at this time."

Yeah, it wouldn't let me change the opponent pitching to powerful, so after Christan's homer, I hit with contact the rest of the game.

The Stingers' bats got hot early, as A.D., with Yuu on second and one out, hit a homer to center, giving the Stingers a 2-0 lead.

Jermaine Dye would bring things back in the bottom of the second, as he, with a man on first and nobody out, hit a 2-run shot to center, tying the game at 2-2.

With men on first and second and no outs in the third, Logan gave the Stingers their lead back, as he hit an RBI double to center, making it 3-2 Stingers. A few batters later, with a man on third and two gone, Christian hit a single to short center, and thus extending the lead to 4-2.

Jim Thome led off the fourth for the White Sox with a solo homer to right, his fifteenth of the year, as the Stingers' lead was narrowed to 4-3.

In the fifth, with a man on third and one out, Logan hit a single over the second baseman's head, extending the Stingers' lead to 5-3.

Darin Erstad came up in the bottom of the inning with men on first and second and two gone, and performed in the clutch by hitting an RBI single, narrowing the lead to 5-4.

Jermaine Dye, with a man on first and no outs in the sixth, hit a bomb to right-center, and the Sox had their first lead of the game, 6-5. Joe Crede followed with a homer of his own, making it 7-5 Sox. Tadahito Iguchi followed with a homer of his own off of new pitcher Yuichiro Nakamora, and extending the lead to 8-5.

But the Stingers weren't through yet, as Logan, with nobody on and one out in the seventh, hit a solo homer to right, narrowing the Sox's lead to 8-6.

The ninth saw the Stingers begin their comeback, as Kaz led off the inning with a monster homer to center, narrowing the Sox's lead to 8-7. Logan followed with one of his own, tying the game at 8-8. After a few risky plays by the Stingers, the Stingers managed to take a lead on a Yousuke RBI double, completing the Stingers' comeback with a 9-8 lead.

Harry came in for the ninth, and proceeded to shut down the Sox for a hard fought win for the Stingers.
