Player Update

Kaz and A.D. met up after the game.

Kaz: Well, looks like I'M the main power hitter.

A.D.: You got lucky. Rest assured, it won't happen again.

Kaz: Dude, give it up. I'm the main power hitter.

A.D.: I think I'll wait.

Meanwhile...

Yuu, Wen Yu, and Yousuke were talking about the game.

Yuu: I'm glad we won our first game!

Wen Yu: Yes, as am I. By the way, nice stolen base earlier!

Yuu: Thanks! Yousuke, you did well also!

Yousuke: Thanks! I owe it all to...

Yousuke paused, and looked over to the corner of the clubhouse. The others followed suit.

They saw Christian, the mysterious Korean, standing alone in the corner. They walked over.

Yuu: Hey Christian, what's wrong?

Christian: ...

Wen Yu: Let me try.

Wen started speaking in Chinese to Christian, who responded back.

Yuu: What did he say?

Wen Yu: He said he doesn't know how to speak anything but Korean and Chinese, and he's upset with his performance tonight.

Yousuke: Tell him it's all right. He's still the best third baseman here.

Wen Yu translated, then got a reply.

Wen Yu: He said thanks, he appreciates it.

Yuu: Looks like he'll need a translator. I nominate Wen to be his roommate/translator.

Wen: Fine by me.

Wen told Christian he would be his new roommate. Christian, for the first time any of them had ever seen, smiled.
