Can I have Cota too?

The following statement has been issued from Michael Cooper, agent of Chris Duffy and Zach Duke:

"McLouth sucks, Duffy better be the starting CF or he won't be happy."

Pittsburgh Pirates (0-0) @ Houston Astros (0-0)
April 2, 2007

The Pirates have lost the first game of the season and they were struggling right from the start. In the bottom of the first, Biggio, Berkman, and Lee all singled, leaving the bases loaded for Morgan Ensberg who, on the first pitch, hit a grand slam off Duke to left. Duke then retired 2 to get out of the inning. Then in the top of the second, Jose Bautista got the Pirate's first homer with a shot to left. The game quietly advanced until the bottom of the 4th when Morgan Ensberg got his second homer. After that, LaRoche and Bautista got back to back homers in the 7th. In the bottom of the eighth, Everrett and Berkman both single. Lee drives in Everrett with a double. Ensberg was then retired with a strikeout, Luke Scott then grounds out but Berkman still scores. After this, Duke is pulled and Kuwata is inserted. The Pirates were starting to make a comeback in the 9th but Bay was caught looking to end the game.

Bay demands that next time the Pirates have a day off that his trainer demands Bay will practice the whole entire day.

Pittsburgh Pirates (1-3) @ Cincinnati Reds (2-2)
April 7, 2007

The Pirates have lost game two of the series in a 9th inning thriller. It all started with Adam Laroche hitting a two run blast into center in the top of the first. Then in the top of the 3rd, Bay gets his first homer of the year with a solo shot. In the 4th, LaRoche singled, and then stole second. Nady singles to get LaRoche on 3rd, and finally Paulino gets a sac fly to score LaRoche. But in the bottom of the 4th, the Reds score seven runs in a huge singles rally in which Armas was pulled and Grabow was sent in. The inning ended when Grabow got both Dunn and Phillips to ground out. The game was quiet until the bottom of the eighth when Reds pitcher Majewski got a single, and Freel got on with an error. Dunn then capped it off with a single to score Majewski. Then in the 9th, the excitement started. It all started when Nady doubled. Paulino and Duffy both managed to get out. Jose Castillo was then asked to come in and pinch hit. He got a single and Nady scored. Pirates down 3. Bay then singles, and so does Wilson. Freddy Sanchez then comes through with a huge clutch hit which scores Castillo and Bay. Pirates down 1. LaRoche also singles. Then came Jose Bautista who, with 2 outs, gave the Pirates the lead with a 2 RBI single! Nady however grounded out to end the half. But all was not well for the Pirates. Torres was called in for the save but was shaky. Edwin Encarnacion led off with a double. Scott Hatteberg then singled, advancing Encarnacion to 3rd. Hopper is called to pinch run for Hatteberg. Then Denorfia comes in to pinch hit, but strike out. David Ross then tied it with a sac fly. Freel then gets the walk off single to finish it.
