This Kenny Rogers struck out 28 in a row. Believe it.

I don't have him on my team, but I've seen in the Season Records that Sabathia has struck out 25 in one game. And amazingly enough, he's done it on TWO different occasions.....and that was only up to mid-May in my 2nd season. Last season, he struck out 325 guys in 25(?) starts. I dont think I can go back and look how many starts he had the last season, but I got to guess its the mid 20's, at most. I vaguely remember the league leader had like 230 innings pitched.

That would mean he AVERAGED 13 strikeouts a game,if he pitched all complete games. And with a wild guess of saying he pitched 230 innnings, he averaged 12.71 Ks/9 innings. Nice!

Pitching in rookie mode with Orlando Hernandez of the Mets I struck out 20 as part of a perfect game he pitched. Incidentally, 2 games later I had another perfect game as well.

You gotta know when to hold 'em. And know when to fold 'em.

I know this hasn't been posted to in a long time, but I've just started playing
MLBPP and I play all my games (no fast games). My best game so far was with
my Tim Wakefield, who had 25 strike outs! It was a one-hitter. Last week, I
almost had a perfect game against the Yankees, but my Dustin Pedroia blew
a pop-up from Hideki Matsui, that would have been the 2nd out in the 9th...
