I should have made him a closer and probably should have made him more of a contact hitter.
But no regrets other than that.

More of a contact hitter??!?!?
he has maxed out contact how would that be possible?

I think he might be saying that because he has the power hitter and slugger abilities.

Well, since I couldn't get power to an A, I would have preferred maybe grt infield hitter, tough out, table setter, over power hitter.

Over Power Hitter?

Yeah, he'd rather get those three abilities he mentioned rather than Power Hitter.

Still, I'm sure you can put plenty over the fence with that power. I've had guys with many multi HR games with high 160 power.

Actually, now that I've started simulating a lot of games, he seems to be hitting a lot of homers. (something he probably wouldn't be doing without power hitter) But I feel like I'm wasting his speed other than his outstanding defense. And when your power is not 200 or above it seems like you don't have that extra umph to crush the ball, and you tend to fly out more often.

I want so badly to be able to take away two of his pitches (14 gambles) and trade them in for the rest of his power and some hitting abilities. He's so good that he could probably get away with just a few pitches and still be dominant, however, a few more hitting abilities would go a long way.

(and I could have made him a spider catching CF like I had originally planned)
Ran out of time because it took too many abilities to make the outfielder I wanted. (throwing, cannon arm, etc.)

this guy rocks, had about an incredibly low ERA and batted amazingly, like .360 BA and 40 something homers, with plenty of SB. he also won about 33 games, 0 losses, about 28 SHO, 26 CG, and 500-600 SO, along with a .5 ERA.

It's a screw ball with quite a few upgrades. Kind of acts like a change up at first then does a funky twist at the end. Can't throw it a whole lot, but a good surprise pitch.

Any idea what upgrades, how many, and what order?

c'mon ROOKIE!!!

I'm not completely certain, but I think I started with a couple of slowdown upgrades, and then 3 or 4 better break upgrades.

Dude, this guy is amazing. I thought the first baseman I created with A - Contact and D - Power was impressive, but this is ridiculous. I didn't know it was possible to make a player with these abilities. Very nice. :D
