Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

Yeah! My players aren't the most realistic. But the funny thing is since his power is so bad the outfielder play shallow on him. And when he rips a fly ball that normally would be an easy out, since nobody is there it rolls all the way to the fence and he uses his speed for an inside the parker!

I only took a quick scan but you can really notice a huge difference in your pitchers from when you became a better sucess mode player. All 1s and 2s with 1 3 to 6s 5s and 4s with a ton of abilities. Very impresive. The hitters looked very nice as well and I'll take a closer look when I'm under less time constraint.

I wish I had a tv in this room so I could hook up my ps2 to it and enter in these PW's, it takes forever to handwrite every single one and I like the pictures because I see the colors and I have horrible handwriting and sometimes I mistake a capitle for a lower case.

Thanks. Actually I had about 3 player making stages.
1. When I first started I was lucky if my players batted 5th for the Tulips.
2. I made some decent players once I figured out which cards were better for some of the events so I got some better abilities and stats through that.
3. I started looking at this forum and figured out that I wasn't taking enough risk with injuries and figured out which card was best for every random event.

My one problem is I always neglect one category for each player. Batters tend to have poor power and pitchers have terrible top speeds. Although I have made some good power hitters recently.
I didn't post any stage one players because they are so bad you wouldn't want to waste your time entering them.

haha, I generally have the same problem with power. I work on it last. Try getting hyper recovery and get it out of the way first. It's the most important thing and the hardest to train. Leave a stat or two out as you can get it within a year or perhaps a spring training. I hate how hard it is to train power. I hope that changes in the new version.

I have made a player with 149 power but I can't get it any higher.Posway(see above) only has a B because he had Dr Goodjob surgery. The only other B power I have is Lou Gherig that I made yesterday.

Transferring PW's is a skill in itself. Once you do it a few times though, you get good at being extra careful when writing them down. Cause' it REALLY stinks when you gotta do it twice!

Hyper recovery is the key. Use mostly strength training and then use a lower percent workout to hit the bar to the max without going over. You might have to reload though to do the right workout. Sometimes you have to do 2 lower percent workouts to hit it to the max. Sometimes if you do too many strength, there will be no workout low enough to do without going over. Almost hitting it to the max, and actually hitting it are two very different things. Do it at the beginning. Then at the end, get the 1 almost guaranteed Dr. Goodjob. This should be plenty for power or stamina.

Never sleep unless your getting hyper recovery!!

I know, that's why I haven't added these yet because I once tried this and I had to keep checking to see what I did wrong, but I do plan on adding some of the older guys(satchel paige etc...). It'll probably get easier after I do a couple, like you said it's a skill and I'll have to learn it by doing a couple.

Yeah, this is a good strategy, you'll probably need the recovery necklace(at least that's how I do it) so you can keep the injury rate below 99%.

We have one, but it's not connected to the internet because my dad uses it for programing stuff and doesn't need the internet for it, that would be very helpful though. I did put in one guy tonight, Glavine, I wanted to see what the original pitch was like and it is pretty awesome.
