There is actually a little story behind the making of this guy.
This guy was made while showing one of my friends MLB Power Pros Success Mode. We were talking about obscure games that we played and liked, I told him about MLB Power Pros and how much I played this game. At first, he thought it was just shovelware that I have nostalgia for, but he would later like the game, in fact getting it himself. I asked him if he wanted to try it, he would later agree. Since he thought this game wasn't good at first, he wanted to name this guy Donald Trump as a joke. I give him an overview on how Success Mode works and differs from the main game and what we need to do. Since he didn't know much and I let him tell me what do every week, we spend some time doing unnecessary studying and working. With some guidance though, we got the Becky Arc completed to get Intimidator along with maxing out Ladies Man for Star. We would also talk about the characters, Alvin being a cliche anime rival, Marvin being a klutz, Toby being useless, Becky being a feminist, etc. This playthrough would also feature Willy, who would play a huge factor on why he got this game. In our second year, we would lose to the Champion Rings (My friend was happy since he didn't want Toby as a champion) still, we wanted revenge. After beating the World Gatherings and Commanders in our 3rd year with ease, we would be facing off with Alvin and Zero. However, before the game, we decided to use a challenge card with Willy since my friend never used the challenge card before with Willy (I had to convince him to use a yes card and marvin card for the two games before this one since he never wanted Willy to play, he freaked out seeing Willy's stats). At this point, I decided to save and load 5 times until I would use a no card, on the 4th attempt however, the Tulips would later get onto a hot streak. We got three consecutive strike outs with Willy on 3rd in the 5th inning, we would then follow it up with 3 DPs in the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings. However, in the 9th, Ultimate batted in a double to tie the game 1-1 making it pointless to win. At that time, we were way to determined, we spent around 2 hours trying to beat Willy and the Rings. We would eventually get lucky and have the Tulips to score 3 runs, allowing us to win 3-0 against the Rings at 2 o'clock in the morning. At some parts, we were shaking since we wanted to beat the Rings so bad. I would also complain about Trump being bad during this time. He only had a 86 mph top speed with E control during our faceoff with Willy. All in all, the hype of the Willy face off lead my friend to get this game.
My two regrets are not giving this guy much better stats and not giving him sandbag.
