If i want to link my user profile to a log i am doing, is it an internal or external link? i'll be doing it as a topic, so, what od i do? thanks.

It would be an external link if it's your Forum profile, and an internal link if it's your Wiki profile

That's an external link. Anything that's on the wiki can be internally linked within the wiki, but outside of the wiki has to be externally linked
