I have noticed in my MLBPP 07 career that there are many other random events than what you've posted. I can't remember the basis of it, but here's what I remember:

NEW RANDOM EVENTS
----------------------------
*Purse/Bag theif coming to work for the college.

OTHER PARTS OF RANDOM EVENTS
------------------------------------------
*Mark's problem: He gets a new girlfriend in 2nd encounter, but in 3rd encounter, she dumps him.
*Playing Catch (1 kid): One time, he plonks you on the head, and then asks to play catch; One time he tells you he wants to be a major leaguer too. NOTE: At one point saying 'yes' to wanting to play catch (after saying, "That kid's out there playing catch again. What should I do") will make you do the 'no' decision.

This is what I could come up with off the top of my head. I hope this helps some people.

I hadn't heard of the purse/bag thief one before. I knew of the Mark and the Ghost Kid one.

BTW the Ghost Kid arc is the only arc I've never completed.

Also, I noticed that when the thief comes to work for the college, another random event happens where he gives you $20 for giving him the $10. Cool. 8)
