Rattlers 0-0 Rangers 0-0
In his Rattlers debut, Jake Peavy dominated striking out 15, and throwing a complete game. Nick Redd homered in the 2nd making it 1-0. Bard followed with a solo shot. Bard also singled in the 3rd driving in two. It was silent until the 7th, when Nick Redd homered again making it 5-0 and ending the scoring.

HR Redd 1,2 Bard 1

Rattlers 6-9 Rangers 10-5
Jake Peavy took the mound again for the Rattlers. Chris Young started the scoring with a 2 run homer in the first. No other runs were put on the board until the 5th, when Nick Redd brought home Fernando Silva on a suicide squeeze. Texas scored another run in the 8th off Damaso Marte, but the earned run went to Peavy, making it 3-1. Joe Crede brought in a run in the 8th to put the score to 3-2. With a runner on in the ninth, John Bard hit a homer to right center to give the Rattlers a 4-3 win.

W- Parker 1-0
L- Rupe 1-2
HR- Bard 6
C. Young 4

5/1/2008 Phoenix Beach Stadium
Rattlers 9-19 Tigers 15-13
A struggling Lucas Snare took the mound. Granderson started the scored with a solo shot in the third. They scored another 2 runs that inning. Miguel Cabrera made it 4-0 with a homer in the 5th. In the same inning Juan Uribe homered making it 4-1. Later in that inning, Nick Redd homered tying the game at 4. Redd homered again in the 7th pushing the score to 7-4. Detroit scored 4 in the 8th off Nathan and Snare making it 8-7. Joe Crede brought in the tying run in the 8th. The game went into 20 innings. It ended on a walkoff homer by Uribe.

W- Johnson 1-0
L- Rodney 0-1
HR- Uribe 4,5 Redd 5,6

Rattlers 20-30 Red Sox 28-22
Jake Peavy took the mound for the Rattlers facing the Red Sox. Phoenix started the scoring with a Joe Crede triple in the 2nd. They scored again on an E6. Nick Redd made it 3-0 with a single in the third. Evan Gettis brought in two runs in the fifth with a single. Coco Crisp drove in a run in the fifth making it 5-1. He was followed by a JD Drew singled making the score 5-2. Silva brought in a run making it 6-2. He was followed by a Nick Redd Grand slam! 10-2 Rattlers! Boston scored one in the 9th but still lost 10-3.

L- Beckett 3-5
HR- Redd 13
