I use the Virtual Console controller mostly, as I am kind of used to the analog style of gaming moreso than the nunchuk. I know you can also use the Gamecube controller, but I don't have one available. What does everyone else use? VC Controller, Wiimote+Nunchuk or GC Controller?

I use Wii Remote and Nunchuck. I don't have the other one. I have Gamecube, but the analog stick isn't as fluid.

What's the VC Controller? Is it the "Classic One" that attaches like a nunchuck but plays more like a Gamecube controller?

Yeah it's pretty cool, I can field better with it because the Wiimote makes you field and throw with the control pad and my thumb is always near the bottom and not the top, so it's awkward to field.

How much did it cost?

Good point. Runners always get extra bases on me because my thumb is fatter than the control pad and sometimes hit two of the directions at once. It always goes the wrong one.

$20, I got mine for Christmas so it's all good. I'd say it has a much better feel overall, though I do love playing against my girlfriend in the Mii Exhibition and swinging the wiimote like a madman

I have tried to use the GC controller, and it was probably just the controller but the Nunchuck's analogue stick feels much smoother so I generally just use that.

Nunchuck+Wiimote

I use B-mode fielding and my friend's GC controller kept making me throw to the wrong base ><"

The nunchuck occasionally goofs (fails mostly only on turning double plays around the horn), but is on the whole much better.

I use the classic controller also, but I feel like my batting isn't as good as it could be because the analog nub is a little jerky. I'll find myself needing only a small adjustment in my swing, then find that a "small" analog movement turns into a total whiff. That's frustrating and makes me long for my old wavebird that I no longer have. Plus, I also use the analog setting during batting and I get totally pissed when a pitcher makes a '!' right down the middle of the plate which should result in a homer, but instead I end up not being able to get the lock-on perfect swing and usually just take it as a strike. ><

I use the nunchuck and wiimote. Only problems I have is that I let go of the control stick on the nunchuck right before I press the a button sometimes. I hate it when that happens.

I like the nunchuck way though, it always for more free movement. And it fits well with the hands - haven't tried the classic one before, though.

Meh, I like the GC controller, it was one of the best. I've been playing games on the cube for years.

The GC feels a bit chunky after not using for a while. But I'll be getting used to it soon once I start playing Brawl.

I use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. It just feels natural to me.

agreed, the GC does get chunky, especially if you have a wavebird (don't you hate how cords can tip the wii over?)

I also use my GC controller. Had to get an extension cord, but it's worth it. It's very natural to use for a baseball game.

I have considered getting this wireless alternative, though.

Anyone have any experience with it?
