Just seeing this and getting caught up. Cool log! I'm rooting for Toledo (closest to my hometown) and Edmonton (playing at Comerica).

With the UBL Rookie Draft over (Didn't feel like making a post out of it.) Inter-league games pick up in the middle of the madness. Along with interleague play kicking off two eye-popping trades happened over the week. Edemonton Trade virtually half of it's Starting Rotation for Ethan Wheeler (.275/9/31), Durham gets the solid pitching rotation they need for the future and Edmonton gets a more then serviceable hitter. Along with this Trade Miami and New Orleans Swapped Catchers in Ty Wilson and Ralph Siegmund, Wilson gives Orleans better defensive presence with his ability to play Cacther, First and Thrid. While Ralph is the solid hitter that can help give them a better push offensively.

Two more weeks till All-Star voting is finalized and mark the near the half-way point of the season. A few Blockbuster trades happened over the week as well, Danny Ramierz and Cory Quinton (both RP) of the Indianapolis Wizards where traded to the Charlotte Warriors for Terrell Jackson (RF). The Trade is kind of a headscratcher for me as Jackson is hitting .182 on the season, and is going to one of the worst hitting teams in the league, as if he'll make a difference. The Warroirs might have walked away with a steal as they get Danny Rameriz who is one of the better Closers in the League (3.94 ERA/11 Sv/ .176 OBA) but who knows what could happen towards the end of the season. Tuscon traded it's Star Shortstop Jamie Carter (.316 BA) for Orlando Hernandez and Oliver Ried of the Scranton Wildcats, Both Starters are pitching a ERA under 2 runs so more then a solid pick up for an average rotation that dirt devils held before.

July is coming to a end and it's been a crazy month, Trades are happening left and right, as All-Stars are being moved from team to team which is shocking to most of the league. Aces like Cliff Harrison on the move from Edmonton to Montreal, and Damion Rayban former Hornet now Demon. With all this happening the race for playoff contention is still a open field. Ten teams from the Patriot League seem to have a reasonable shot at winning their respective divisions or placing for the wildcard which is currently lead by the 57-46 Montreal Reapers, with the New Orleans Blue Sox and Iowa City Broncos only two games out there not much room for error for them. Watching the Freedom League is slightly a bit of a another story, Divison Leaders seem to have their stronghold positions all being over 60 wins which is 75% of the 60 win teams in the league. The real test is watching teams like the Toledo Lions and Edmonton Raptors duke it out for a wildcard slot.
