Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

Don't feel bad man, eventually you'll get there (and then you can be upset that you can't beat them :D )

Things that help...

Don't use power hit
Make a dominating player (pitcher or CF help the most IMO)
If your pitcher gets flustered or tired, TAKE HIM OUT!
Use multiple pitchers (Unless you have a godly pitcher)

Remember, don't use power hit. (Unless you have a godly hitter)
I know you would love to crack a couple homers or even long doubles, but singles are the key.

Singles, singles, singles win the game.

Yeah, I learned this the hard way, I went about 10 or 15 games and finally realized I shouldn't be using power hit with these guys.

I will agree with this, however, you CAN use power hit, just make sure the guy's Trajectory is 1 or 2, and he'll keep it low enough to make it a line drive base hit.

I've turned doubles this way, makes it easier to score runs using back-to-back doubles than back-to-back-to-back singles (if you have a fast enough guy to go from 1st to 3rd or score from 2nd).

I go a step further on pitching. A very strict 30-40 pitch count, typically gets 1.1 or 1.2 innings of work in before I call in a replacement. Since all hands are on deck, you don't need to "save" pitchers for the next game, go ahead and use all 11-12 you have. Saving Alvin or Robin to pitch the late innings usually works for me (unless Alvin is low motivation, then he's middle relief).

Good point.
I usually do use power hit for the eighth and ninth batters because otherwise your pop flies will barely make it out of the infield.

Does anyone ever notice your ninth batter always seems to be able to hit the ball pretty dang far sometimes with power hit. Sometimes I can almost get a home run with him. (Off the wall)

Better than some of the good hitters?

I never checked the stats but I don't think they're good.

Yeah, I posted it in the other topics somewhere but I was shocked when my 8th hitter, my SS with F power hit a go ahead home run in one of my Success Mode games.

The only people I have seen hit HR's were Mark and Brad(who kinda irks me)
and my own player

I prefer Brad over Rex. Rex is useless IMO. If you still have Alvin, he can go yard too. He hit 3 for me against the Superstars (granted with lock on and purple mood)
