I almost did yesterday, with Zambrano facing the White Sox. Only allowed two hits in the sixth inning. That was irritating.

Is there any particularly special cutscene or bonus if you do throw one?

I have 3 1 hitters, one by Pedro Martinez, 1 by Tim Wakefield, and 1 by Aaron Sele when he started once, and a 2 hitter by Wakefield, but no perfect games...annoying. The hit in the one with Pedro was a bloop single that the game's stupid ability to make you control the wrong fielder stopped me from fielding, also very annoying. I think that you get a lot more owner points in season if you do it, but I'm not quite sure, as I haven't had one.

I've had 3 perfect games. Barry Zito threw one last season (2009), Carlos Zambrano threw one in the opening game of the 2009 World Series againt the Angels, and Barry Zito threw another one recently this season (2010).

You know it's a video game when Barry Zito can pitch a perfect game. Let alone get through 5 innings.

I just threw one with John Maine, against the Marlins. So, now I have thrown one. It gives you 780 owner points in season mode.

Barry Zito may suck in real baseball, but in this game he is actually very good.

Yeah and 6 and 7 pitches are harder to nibble at corners with.

That, and I believe they seem to sit on the pitch a little more, because its supposed to be your best one. Oh, and I threw another perfect with Wakefield.

I've gone to the 8th inning with Felix Hernandez, then given up one base hit, then finished the game with no other hits or walks (I've never walked a single batter, I've had this game since november). Same thing happened with the same guy, but i made it 2 the 9th inning, 2 outs away, then given up a single. Pisses me off every time.

Oh, and in season mode, I almost had back 2 back perfect games, but they were both broken up in the 7th inning.

the only time i walk a batter is on purpose to make things dramatic

like recently

it was the 9th inning against the angels I had 2 outs already and the #2 guy was up but I was bored so I pitched out to him to load up the bases since I had 2 guys on base already and I wanted to pitch to Gurrero

so I walk the dude Vald is up I'm winning 6-5 with bases loaded (just so you know I turn the strike zone off) I give the guy 2 balls in the dirt with SPLT's get him to swing at 2 high H-SLD's I pitch out to him like its a mistake full count and finally I get him with a high heater it was a thing of beauty

I was really close. It was one of my first games in season mode with the mets. I put El Duque to the mound and went into the ninth with a perfect game so far. Then with one out, there was a stupid bloop single, that was the only hit that I gave up that game.
