What big arms? Verlander? CC? I'd take the PHILLIES Rotation over the AL allstar team's top 5 any day, let alone the top 5 in the NL. This year proved two things

1. The NL, top to bottom, has better pitching.
2. A team of hitters (AL) will lose to a team of pitchers any day of the week.

Oh yeah Phillies! But I totally agree and that game proved it.

The Phillies on a roll. There beating down on the Giants except for today. And Hunter Pence is looking like a much better trade then Beltran. Really the only team I am afraid of is the Giants.

You should fear us (The Braves, and for that matter, the Red Sox). The Braves have a better record than the Giants, and the Sox have the second best record to you guys. Come October, we'll be ready for ya :wink:

Brewers have won 11 of their last 12, and are 3 up on the Cardinals. They are in St.Louis this week, so hopefully they can stay hot and get way out ahead of them.

Tigers are doing pretty well lately too, they've got a 4 game lead in the (awful) AL Central now. Just like I thought they would, the Indians are falling apart. I'm more concerned about the White Sox making a late season comeback at this point.

They got robbed in that trade. Could you imagine their rotation in 2-3 years? Pomeranz, Masterson, White, Carrasco, Tomlin, and then Huff/McAllister as extras. Ubaldo is no sure thing..

Too bad Porcello gave up 5. Did you know the Tigers haven't swept a team since the end of May?

Did you know the Rangers bullpen is the least consistent in all of baseball? They should all have Consistency 2 imo.
