How is school?

basically I think Texas is in love with the SAT and everywhere else prefers the ACT

- i took the ACT b/c applying to more out of state schools than in state
-- also b/c liked act format better than sat
--- also b/c i'm an angsty teen just trying to #rebel against the system

and jag, I spent 0 hours on tutoring/test prep and got a 32 on the ACT so I wouldn't read too much into that study

I think my best score on the ACT was a 26...that's about average, right?

I'm pretty sure that's above average. But anyone going to college should hopefully be getting above average scores anyways

So we get out the 22nd, one rando Monday after the weekend. All I have left is this English powerpoint, a Math final, and a Science final. Last three days or so will likely be half. I'm surprised it's got here so fast but I'm glad it's over.

my classes right now (other than study hall and tech, I have no clue what periods these classes are)

- 1st period: honors tech 2.0, basically I'll learn to fix computers, get A+ certification, and maybe present on educational apps, plus it can sometimes be a 2nd study hall
- ap lit & comp, have to write a 40 page critical analysis iirc plus a senior speech
- ap statistics, yay
- honors advanced digital production, have taken this class for four years
- honors forensic science, sounds cool
- government/economics, half semester of each, basketball coach teaches at least 1 of these classes
- 7th period: study hall, which is the best

I graduated high school four weeks ago, and I'm starting at a community college here in the fall, working towards an associates degree in business. Got a job here too, it's at a fast-food restaurant, but I don't really give a *(censored)*, as long as I'm making $$$

I got a 1510 on the SAT. Probably because I'm horrible at math and I could only really think of two paragraphs for the essay portion.

Not to brag, but my lowest grade ever in my report card or progress report was a 93% in 2nd or 3rd grade. Can't remember which grade though.

this is definitely bragging, but sure

also, you're in what, 8th grade? that's good and all, but high school is a heck of a lot tougher than elementary/middle school

those essays (and most essays in general) suck though, my ACT one was dreadful
