How good is that Adamson guy? I've heard the Show uses an A - B - C prospect rating system.

The scoring began in the bottom of the first, when, with a runner on second, Jayson Werth hit a single to bring him home. But, the Braves got all that and more back in the top of the third, when with a runner on first, Jason Heyward hits a bomb to right-center field to make it 2-1 Braves. Jonny Venters made it interesting in the ninth, letting up a double, but he got out of it, as the Braves win 2-1 over the Nats.

The Marlins would begin the scoring in the bottom of the second with a sacrifice fly from Emilio Bonafacio to make it 1-0. They'll score another run on a Bonafacio RBI single to make it 2-0 int he bottom of the fourth. The Marlins would add another run and the Braves would make a sorry effort at a comeback in the ninth with a McLouth RBI double, but the Marlins win 3-1.

BREAKING NEWS
Jason Heyward sustained a pulled hamstring in Tuesday's 3-1 loss against the Marlins. He pulled it diving to make a catch in the bottom of the fifth. He said: "It hurts." The press laughed and he continued: "It will take 3-4 weeks to heal. Don't rule me out for the rest of the season. I'm coming back." He was placed on the 15-day DL immediately after the game.

This log is done for the time being. Too much work with school, this log is. I'll be doing my Snakes log regularly now.

(55-67) Atlanta Braves Image

San Francisco Giants - 9
Atlanta Braves - 5

WP: Madison Bumgarner (8-9)
LP: Derek Lowe (7-14)
SV: Brian Wilson (29)

The scoring began in the top of the first, when after a Buster Posey double, Aubrey Huff hits him in with an RBI single. Then, in the top of the second, Madison Bumgarner helps his own cause with an RBI double down the right field line. The Giants would add on more insurance in the fourth and fifth, but the Braves score two runs in that time span. In the bottom of the sixth, with the score 7-2, Alex Gonzalez destroys a bomb off the top of the wall in left to score two runs and get a double. The Giants would tack on two more insurance runs in the eighth and ninth innings, and the Braves would try and make a comeback, but futilely, as the Giants win, 9-5.

San Francisco Giants:
Madison Bumgarner: 7 IP, 10 H, 4 ER, 7 K
Mark DeRosa: 2-5, 2 RBI, 2 2B

Atlanta Braves:
Derek Lowe: 4 IP, 8 H, 6 R (5 ER), BB, 5 K
Alex Gonzalez: 2-4, 2 RBI, 2B

Atlanta Braves - 1
New York Mets - 7

WP: Mike Pelfrey (8-11)
LP: Tim Wakefield (6-8, 199 career wins)
SV: -

The scoring began in the top of the first, when after an Eric Hinske double, Brian McCann delivers a double of his own to bring Hinske home and take an early lead. But, in the bottom of the second, the Mets counter with the pitcher getting a two-RBI single. Then, in the bottom of the third, Angel Pagan gets an RBI single with a runner on third to make it 3-1, Mets. Then, in the bottom of the seventh, the first pitch that Joaquin Benoit faces will be a crushed 393 foot home run by Miguel Tejeda, to make it 4-1. And things didn't get any better, as David Wright delivers a solo shot of his own with 2 outs later in the inning. But of course, they weren't done. Jason Bay adds on a two-run shot this time to make it 7-1. But that'll be all, as the Mets win, 7-1.

Atlanta Braves:
Tim Wakefield: 6 IP, 4 H, 3 R (1 ER), BB, K
Brian McCann: 2-4, RBI, 2 2B

New York Mets:
Mike Pelfrey: CG, 7 H, ER, 5 K
Jason Bay: 1-3, HR, 2 RBI, BB
