Power Pros Forum

So, I bought Power Pros a long time ago, probably 2010-2012, and when I loaded it up, I saw Success Mode. I decided to try it out. By some miracle, I get by with a G(3)B(146)E(?)E(?)D(?)G(2) (close if not exact) left fielder. I moved on and didn't come back to the mode for 3-4 years. I start a new character, gets kicked at AA, try again. I spend hours trying to get onto the AAA starting squad. I have probably tried 50-65 times, and only one got on the the AAA starters... And to my luck, the last game against the GalaxySharks and too far from being able to get close to the contract. And his stats were amazing. Had a decent changeup, a 4 original (rising slider), and a mid to upper 90's fastball. I started to wonder how did this on my first try. So, then I started again with a catcher who I had planned to be a slugger. He had pr sense and laziness which I didn't realize could've been fixed until I deleted him, and was probably my best shot at getting through the game. I realize now how to get through (prince's necklace and fragrance) and I wondered how many times the people on the forum messed up or didn't make it. So, how many times have you messed up?

50+ easily, I really sucked when I first started playing (esp. 08) and I came back to it a couple years later and was somehow even worse -- I think I failed with 5 or 6 straight at one point

I still fail with guys sometimes, but the Prince's Necklace helps a lot, and just getting experience and learning as you play helps too

I keep on getting game overs
