Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

Lou Brock has been released. Replacing him is Ricky Henderson.

Thinking about releasing a few players. Tell me what you think.

Cy Young: Replacing him is no one because we already have a 6 man rotation.
Lou Gehrig: Replacing him will be Foxx.
Palmer: He is in AAA, so no one will be replacing him.
Bruce Sutter: I will not release him till someone tells me who can replace him.

These guys have the biggest salaries on the team.

Could you find a role for Eckersley on your staff. He was a good starter and a great reliever during his years.

Why do you want to get rid of a guy with a 2.78 ERA? (Sutter)

Indeed the trick of keeping a HOF team together is managing the budget. This seems this is going to be an on going challenge for the team and that there will be a constant turn over of the roster. Also, because of this talent you bleed will be picked up by other teams and will make your challenge of winning consistently more difficult. Especially since most of these players are young and will be playing for most of the duration of the teams run. I think that a better strategy for these players would be to construct them to slightly less than what they were in real life and let them develop the rest as time goes by. This may buy you a few more cheaper years with these guys.

Remember that it took many years for these players to develop the skills that made them Hall of Famers.

Go ahead and make Eck like normal I think. You are already in year 5 of the Season mode and it is 10 years correct?

Yes that is correct, and I meant ability suggestions please. I don't know what he throws and if he needs short, medium, or long stamina, and good control, etc.

Top speed was low to mid 90's, his slider was wicked though.
