Moriyama gets first complete game of his career

Koshien Stadium, Nishinomiya, Hyōgo – The Tigers first round pick of last year, Tsuyoshi Moriyama, has finally thrown his first NPB complete game. It was anticipated for him to do this earlier, seeing as in his Koshien experience, he threw 2 of them, but no matter. It is done! He has done it! In his press conference after the game, he stated “I guess I did alright, but I did give up 1 run. I still have to improve.” And Moriyama didn’t just do well on the mound. He also gave the Tigers the lead in the 2nd. Saka (who was batting 8th) was intentionally walked to get to Moriyama, with 2 outs. Moriyama, on the first pitch, smoked one up the middle for an RBI. The Tigers kept that lead for the rest of the game. And the Tigers are slowly crawling up the standings, as they are now in 4th place! And they are now 5 games over .500, which is pretty impressive, considering how this season has gone so far.

Nice work, I'd also like to tell you I've made a new hard-throwing reliever and in the process of making a 1B once Kanemoto retires.

Anyways, Nishioka signed with the Minnesota Twins for 3 years. I think this is the first Asian player the Twins have had, but I'm not sure

And I have found a new favorite NPB team and player. Unfortunately for you guys, it's the Tigers' rival Chunichi Dragons. My fav NPB player is Tony Blanco, so I suggest you trade for him

Ooh, I would like to see the reliever! I too, have a first baseman, one of the brothers.

And on the Nishioka news, good for him! It'll be interesting to see how he transitions to the MLB.

Tony Blanco! He's so hard to pitch to. Him (And Ogasawara from the Giants) pretty much hit a homerun every time they're at bat against me.

Tony's awesome.

I feel the same about Craig Brazell.

Strangely, he's the only Tigers player I can strike out...

The 1B I made is a complete beast, though, A Contact, B Power, B E Res, and C all the other categories. With a ton of abilities too.

There's a user on youtube who uploads highlights from Dragons games, it's pyz9, just search it on YT and you'll find it.

That's weird.... He does have bad contact though.

And I'll probably end up importing the first baseman, since I only have 1 import player card as of now. So I'll have to think about getting him, or on the brothers...

Don't make your team too overpowered! Although you can pick up as many overpowered relief pitchers as you want.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing, if my team gets TOO good, I'll probably end this, and start a new one somewhere down the line.

And for pitching, it's actually getting better!
